Morning Prayer June 2, 2012
Blessed is the break of day, the dawn that sings a new song of hope to the broken-hearted, weary, and forlorn. Blessed is the waking world; may we waken with it to the goodness we can do, to what is needful and what bears mercy and love. Blessed is the dawning wisdom in those who have striven past frustration, past the fear of humiliation, and past worrying about imperfection; may we all keep learning well and using that wisdom to live more generously, to love more boldly, and to add our voices to the great song of thanksgiving. Amen.
