Evening Prayer June 3, 2012
Courageous Love lead us each day in greater reverence for what we cannot understand, greater appreciation for the differences that bring goodness as well as division, greater cooperation for the sake of love and mercy and a greener, more hopeful world. Strengthen us through one another when we falter. Grant us good companions – strangers, neighbors, friends, and kin – that we may join in giving generously, in giving thanks, and in giving reasons for the world to grow more trusting and more joyful. And each night, before we rest, may we share our thanks and our praises, in each of our different voices, our different ways of reverence, making refuge and reaching out in holy wonder. Amen.
